Born in 1980 in Gdańsk. A graduate of the Gdańsk Academy of Fine Arts. A graduate of the Faculty of Paining and Graphics. Received her diploma in 2007 at the studio of Professor Zdzisław Walicki. Previously she studied graphic design at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. She worked with Tri-City artists as part of the Civil Arts and Education Center e66 project (Obywatelskie Centrum Sztuki i Edukacji e66). She conducted art workshops for children and youth on Sobieszewo Island and Orunia Station, a facility of Gdańsk Archipelago of Art (Gdański Archipelag Sztuki). Her works have been shown at many exhibitions in Poland and abroad. The common feature of geometric abstractions are rectangles of different sizes, different sharpness - once more hazy, other times more clear. On the basis of geometric figures I carry out a specific experiment — I build composition, choose colors, experiment with color saturation. As a result of this journey, an open abstract work is created, consisting of a mixture of many details, devoid of one dominant element, in which one can find the horizon and the depth, but where the beginning and the end can not be defined. The first work in the series emanated in vivid colors and expressive texture, it was associated with the distant roofs of houses in the favelas of Rio de Janeiro — and thus the title was: RdJ. In the subsequent works, I achieved the effect of three dimensions only with color, which, in part of my works, was much more toned-down. Simultaneously to the geometric series of abstractions, completely different paintings are born — monochrome, where the tone is limited to a single color range. While working on them, I find time to calm down, release another kind of energy. Mood when painting translates into the mood of paintings. They are more nostalgic, reflective. I think they could fit into the office of David Hume or John Locke — the advocates of sensualism, that is, to acquire knowledge and experience with the help of senses.
